except me. why?

when i really liked someone before, i prayed and begged to God that it would go away (since it's not doing me any good). fortunately, it did. yay! i'm free.

now, everyone's talking about their love stories and they're asking me of mine."umm, i don't have". i have crushes here and there but i'm actually happy being single. yet, sometimes i wish that i'll be in a relationship. even if it ain't that serious. just for the experience. you know. hehe.

Enchong Dee is gay?

I've read rumors about him being gay but none of them convinced me.

Ok. I'm currently subbing My Girl Philippines and I feel a gay vibe from him. Mas malagkit pa siyang makatingin kay Julian kaysa kay Jasmine. I don't know. It may just be me, though.

I'm not trying to defame him. I'm just stating my observation. You know when you're subbing, you repeat the video a lot of times to get what they're saying.

I actually find him hotter than Julian (Gerald Anderson) and a better actor (way better). It would be a waste if he is indeed gay. But if he comes out someday, I'll respect it. ;)

Best Live Performance I've Seen

1) Mata (Talent Search). Best live performance i've seen (witnessed) in my life so far (and no, i'm not being biased, lol). She's a gorgeous girl with talent and charisma. Real talent baby. Thing is, she was my classmate but I did not expect her to be like that. She was quite nerdy. That was really a surprise to me. Oh yeah, she was really hot that night and oozing with sex appeal. I wish there is a video somewhere.

2) I noticed too that I became quite critical with voice and singing qualities now. Ever since i was hooked on K-pop and read reviews of artists, I started to do reviews myself (though not written down). I focus on their singing not their appearance. I know it's weird but I'm somewhat happy because it will be very helpful for my future plans.

3) I didn't attend the closing ceremony. I dunno. Everybody seems to be not in the mood. (Chase was not in the mood. I was not) The thing that was left were 2NE1 songs being performed and eye-candies. Well, i've had enough of eye-candies during WT. I guess I should just study for our Math exam. I wouldn't be enjoying the program anyways (no other close friends are watching).

4) I always do the wrong choices these days (I noticed). I didn't attend the morning classes because I was lazy (too lazy to get up). I went to school that afternoon only to be informed that all afternoon classes are suspended. Fck. I hope I won't be having the wrong choices when I start my business. Please Lord.

She’s not bitchy enough, moody enough, or sexy enough to be seen in that light. She’s too laid-back, too easily amused by the same things your male buddies are amused by. She’s too understanding, too comfortable - she doesn’t make you feel nervous or excited the way a “real” woman does.

But she’s cool, nice, funny, and attractive enough that when you’re lonely and need female companionship, she’ll do just fine. You don’t have to wine and dine her because she knows the real you already, and you don’t have any facades to keep up, no pretenses to preserve.

You’re not trying to get anything of substance out of her. She’s not easy, but you know that she cares about you, and that she’ll give you the excitement you need. And you know you don’t have to explain yourself or the situation, that she’ll be able to cope with the fact that this isn’t the beginning of a relationship or that there’s any possibility that you have any real romantic feelings for her.It won’t bother her that you’ll get up, say goodbye, and go on a date with the woman you’ve been mooning over for weeks who finally agreed to go out with you. But deep down, if you really think about it (which you probably don’t because to you, the situation between the two of you isn’t important enough to merit any real thought), you know that it’s really not fair. You know that although she would never say it, it hurts her to know that despite all her good points and all the fun you two have, you don’t think she’s good enough to spend any real time with.

Sure, it’s mostly her fault, because she doesn’t have to give in to your needs - she could play the hard-to-get bitch like the rest of them do, if she really wanted to. But you and she both know that she probably couldn’t pull it off. Maybe she’s too short, or a little overweight, or has a big birthmark on her forehead, or works at a factory. Whatever the reason, somehow life has given her a lot of really great qualities but has left out the ones that men want (or think they want) in a woman.

So she remains forever the funny friend, the steadfast companion, and you go on searching for your goddess who will somehow be everything you ever wanted in a woman. She doesn’t captivate you with her beauty or open doors with her smile. Mainly she blends in with the crowd. She’s safe. She doesn’t want to be the center of attention and turn the heads of everyone in the room. But she wants to turn someone’s head. She wants to be special to someone, too.

We all do.

She has feelings. She has a heart. In fact, she probably has a bigger and better heart than any woman you’ve ever known because she’s had a front-row seat to The Mess That Is Your Life, and she still stays anyway.

She obviously sees something worthwhile and redeeming in you because although you’ve given her nothing, absolutely no reason to still be around, she is.

She doesn’t know the reason, really, and at this point she doesn’t even care. She just wants to let every guy know who’s ever had the good fortune to have a Meantime Girl that they may be a lot of fun, but they cry, too. A lot.

And someday, I won’t be around.

C4 Boys: The Next Kanto Boys?

i'm not an avid pbb viewer, but as i was casually watching,
one thing caught my attention - the C4 Boys.
this part specifically. until 2:55

they are not great dancers obviously. the song is also cheesy.
but i just felt a certain vibe from them.
may dating ang sayaw nila.
i also opened up this topic in pex, and some agreed with me.
~~while others didn't care.~~ lol.

a bit similar feeling when i was watching peformances of Big Bang.
though talent wise, malayong-malayo sila sa Big Bang.
but i can feel that they have potential.
ABS management might give them a segment in ASAP, who knows?

which leads me to think, can philippines produce a decent boy band?
great songs with impressive live performance.
can we? i hope so.

btw, to those who are not familiar, this is one of kanto boys' performances in ASAP. they are basically a gag group. they parody hit songs and such.

this is a pretty hilarious parody of meteor garden / boys over flowers.

they are funny! lol.
but i just can't feel the boy band vibe from them.
maybe because i can't take them seriously.
(since yeah, they are a gag group)

out of the four, vhong is the best dancer. then next would be billy, he's a singer too. the remaining two members, john lloyd and luis are actors. so, i can't really expect them to turn into a real boy band.

on the other hand, c4 boys are like a mine that is yet to be discovered. all i know right now is that jason can sing. johan has auditioned to a talent show so he must have undergone singing and dancing lessons too. tibo (steve) is married but i don't think that could hinder his showbiz activities in the future. paul jake is a rich kid so i guess the problem lies on him, will he enter showbiz?

why C4 boys? it's derived from F4. they changed F to C which means cute. Cute 4. lmao. ang baduy! haha. when they revealed the meaning of their group name to kuya, they danced to cutie cute cute. hahaha.

honestly, if filipinos want to follow the boy band / girl band craze in asia, they must start with a boy band, not with ~~pop girls~~ girl band.

statistics say it all. there are more females than males,
and more male converting to female. hahaha.

How did I become a 2NE1 fan?

I've been a 2NE1 fan now for 5 months.
So i think it's about time to post this, right?

Hmm...I don't really remember when i actually started following them. lol.
Ok, yes i do.

The only vivid memory that i remember is the SNN report about Dara. I knew that she was a part of 2NE1. Actually, I didn't really care *laughs*. "Oh, good for Sandy" was my only comment. (Yeah, we're not used with dara, we call her sandy or sandara.)

I think i got to know them in May but only became an active fan in July. ~~The effects were not really nice.~~ The fandom is a challenge to me! forget that, that's a different matter.

Moving on, even though i was not that interested, there was something in the SNN report that made me curious. But i just shrugged it off.

and then, just out of the blue, i searched for dara in google and youtube for their videos and i think the first 2NE1 video i saw was FIRE. My reaction was, "Whoa! is that really Sandara? She improved a lot!". (yeah, the usual reaction you will hear. lol.) i was surprised! how the hell did that happen? Honestly, i never took her singing and dancing seriously before. But she was famous as hell during her SCQ days.

Her dancing improved so much.

To be honest, i was a big Sandara Park fan during SCQ. I was in elementary grade then. I even attempted to vote for her but failed. lol. That is how much i loved and adored her. So as the millions of people who successfully voted for her. She got a total of 2 million votes for that season.

Ok, back to discovering 2NE1. I remember it was around the 2nd week of July when i started following them. It was the 2nd or 3rd perf of "I don't care" and their first win for IDC if i'm not mistaken. I was sooo clueless. i didn't know what the youtube comments were saying. and so i searched for more and found "I Don't Care Too Tired Version". That video cracked me up. I said to myself, "Cool! They must be fun to be with." That video, certainly, was the one who really got me into liking them. They are such dorks. lmao.

I didn't know how it happened but i memorized the members' names almost instantly. after dara, i think i noticed bom next. she and dara look alike.

And then, tada "Welcome to the world of Kpop!". at first, it really hurt me when someone bashed them especially regarding dara's abilities. But now, It doesn't bother me anymore. I'm kinda used to it. I've become numb to all the bashing.

Reading the previous posts in soompi, i really wished i knew kpop earlier or at least grew with 2NE1. *sigh* How great would it have been waiting for news of when they'll possibly debut. How great would it be to hear myself saying their name - 2NE1 - several minutes after it was officially announced. Oh well, at least i still got to know them. i'm still lucky to know them earlier than those Filipinos who now love their music.

Now, i can say that it's really great to be a Kpop fan. You don't know how it felt watching their performances LIVE from korea. You don't know how excited i am seeing them on TV Patrol, SNN, E-live, Jessica Soho, etc. (Yeah, those are Filipino shows). You don't know how proud I am hearing their songs on the streets, stores, jeepneys, and other public places. (i sound like a proud omma, lol!). you really won't understand unless you're a kpop fan yourself.

even though i'm a BIG BIG 2NE1 fan and BIGBANG fan, i have high respect for other groups as well like 2PM, SuJu, SNSD. I would never bash them or be an anti. That's just ridiculous and a waste of time.

as a proof of my love for 2NE1, i already have their first mini-album (i bought it online). I was so happy when i received it. It feels good, really, to support your favorite artists. I'm planning to buy their first full album too (when it's released) and BIGBANG's, GDragon's or Taeyang's. ~~Gaah!!! If only i was a good girl *sigh*.~~

Whew! that was a looong post. i wonder how many people have read ~~scrolled down~~ until this paragraph. hahaha! On my next posts, i would probably give my take on the shipping rivalries (thank god they're peaceful now) esp. Daragon vs Skydragon and possibly some kpop facts that non-kpop peeps should know before indulging in the kpop business. lol.
